Whether you are interested in joining the club or are just looking to find out more, we are contactable via Facebook and email.
Cuth’s Climbing Club welcomes climbers of all abilities. We go bouldering at the Durham
Climbing Centre in Meadowfield every Wednesday and finish off the session with some cake locally sourced from the finest bakers among our ranks. We usually put on an array of socials throughout the year including the iconic “Pirates vs. Ninjas” among others. Because of COVID restrictions, sessions now have to be booked on the Durham climbing centre website but don’t worry because we will have at least one member of the exec in booking slots throughout the day.
If you decide to join us, do not worry about purchasing your own equipment as there are shoes for rental at the climbing centre and we have our own communal chalk bag. There is no levy, but costs involved are £3.75 per climb (£7.5o but half JCR subsidised) and £2 for shoe hire.
If you love climbing, baking, or even just a steady source of niche climbing memes, we hope to see you there! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask us at the fresher’s fair or send one of us an email.
