International Committee provides international students with a close-knit, diverse and welcoming community.
We aim to ensure that all international students have a support network of like-minded people, and endeavour to share and appreciate the diverse backgrounds and nationalities we have here at Cuth’s.
Events
Throughout the year, we organise a range of events to celebrate international holidays and festivities, such as Thanksgiving, Lunar New Year and Christmas. We work closely with the other members of the Communities Committee and the Welfare Committee to ensure that international students have access to resources and feel supported throughout their stay at Cuth’s.
International Committee focuses on ensuring that all international students at Cuth’s have the support they need, especially in transitioning to University and moving to a new country. With out Events, Campaigns, and Publicity Officers, we educate and inform students about international traditions and organise events to celebrate holidays from across the globe. Additionally, we host a range of smaller events for international students to meet each other.
If you are interested in applying for the roles of Events, Campaigns and Publicity Officer, the application details will come out in the first week of Michaelmas term. Drop-Ins
Every week Harry has drop-in hours for international students to pop by and ask questions about administrative tasks or university life. Specific details will come out towards the start of term and can be found @cuthsinternational and @cuths_welfare on instagram.
