Cuths Hockey is a fun and friendly club, wlecoming players of all experience and ability. At the heart of the club is a strong competitive sporting energy. We have mixed weekly training sessions as well as weekend fixtures for both the mens and womens teams.
As a club Cuths Hockey has grown immeasurably in recent years. Following a successful 2020-2021 season from both the mens and womens teams, with each topping their respective leauges, both sides were promoted to the Premiership.
The Womens side of the club continued their success attracting numerous new members and managing to place mid table within their first year in an extremely competetive league. The men went from strength to strength managing to top the Premiership league and become the 2021-2022 college hockey champions as well as being awarded Cuths sports team of the year as well as runners up for the Durham team of the year.
The sporting element of the club is matched in turn by its social side. Socials often involve various themes, fancy dress, and can take place across several college bars as well as other fine Durham establishments. Cuths hockey welcomes, nay, strongly encourages social members regardless of their desire to play hockey. If you are looking to join a club, there is no clearer choice.
