Whether you are interested in joining the club or are just looking to find out more, we are contactable via Facebook and email.
Cuth’s Feminism Society (CuFS) provides a space for feminists, non-feminists and the undecided alike to discuss feminism and related issues in college. We’re also in the process of starting to run campaigns.
Cuth’s Feminist Society meets on Thursday evenings in Brooks Bar and organises a variety of different events such as discussions, socials and fundraisers.
Our meetings are informal, relaxed and generally a good way of staying educated on current issues within the Durham community and also outside of it. Topics we are planning to discuss for Michaelmas term include white saviourism, sex in society, Eurocentric beauty standards and the art of discussion itself (very meta).
To keep up with what we’re doing and when you can follow our Facebook page Cuth’s Feminist Society – CUFS or follow us on Instagram @cuthsfemsoc. Or watch this video to get a better idea of the kind of events we run.
