A library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life.

St Cuthbert's Society Library

House 8 Library and Reading Room: Cuth's Library is open from 11am-8pm during the week and 12pm-6pm at the weekends. There are 14 desks and also 4 laptops that you can borrow in exchange for your campus card. There's also a fantastic kettle to meet all of your caffeinated beverage needs.

Conference Room: The newly decorated Conference Room is just behind the library and contains a large table which 10 people can work around. It's perfect for group study, and also has a Smart Board if you want to practice presentations. You can book it for an hour between 9am-9pm ahead of time at at the link above and it's open 24 hours for any night owls out there.

Nearly Private Study Room: Situated in the depths of House 8, there are just two desks in this room which can be booked individually at the link above. Head to the Librarian on duty to get the key if it's locked or you don't know how to find it.

Group Study Room: Shiny new furniture adorns the Study Room at the front of House 8. There are now 18 desk spaces and a couple of sofas in the room opposite the gym. If you are being disturbed by the gym, let the Librarian know and we'll ask them to keep their lifting as quiet as possible.

Computer Rooms: Over at Parson's there are 6 PCs in Refounders, and another 15 in the computer room just behind the library. Both rooms are open 24/7 and if you encounter any technical issues, send an email to librarian@cuths.com

The secret of getting ahead is getting started.
